Level Insanity Update

That’s my new name for my Alliance guild leader’s insane 2012 challenge, Level Insanity. Has a nice ring? I thought so.

After writing my initial Call to Arms post, I realized I had a few more baby toons floating around. I need to add:

+5 Goblin/Mage Weetzy
+5 Troll/Warrior Soyeur
+55 Goblin/DK Weetzy  (For now, my only DK— full level points.)
——
65 + 203 (last update) = 268 

So… I’m super behind. I wish leveling professions counted in some way. LOL!

Also, knowing myself— I won’t be able to go to level 85 on 20ish toons. I think my strategy will be the mulitudes of lowbie characters strewn across multiple servers.

I was talking with two long-time WoW friends in vent this past week and I told them about this challenge. Being the critics that they are they liked some rules, disliked other rules… but ultimately, they agreed that this challenge would drive me crazy. They know I have Character Screen OCD. No two toons can have the same name (See those Goblins… someone will have to get the axe!).  They can’t look the same. No duplicate race/class combos. The names need to be unique and fantastical. I’m so bad about this, that over the holiday I paid for a few race changes… name changes… and even a server transfer!

This challenge will be so much more to me than just a numbers game. It will test my creativity and my ability to hold off on the delete key. At least until 2013. ;)

And I probably won’t get to the 2K12 goal, but I can definitely pretend that I could.
